Barb Brooks

1941-2009

Barb was a watercolour artist in Jasper National Park. She painted for over 20 years and felt that the effect of such an expanse of untampered nature was the motivating force behind her work.

Barb was also the first 'teacher' and friend to many artists when they arrived in Jasper and found themselves drawn to paint.

Her giving spirit continues on in a yearly award for an arts scholarship, to donate to the

Barb Brooks Arts Scholarship Award

contact the Provincial Arts Service Organization, IOTAD.

IOTAD is a non profit corporation, 100% of all gifts to this foundation will go to further the pursuit of excellence in the arts.
